Bought a yellow/green one for a temple visit. It felt very traditional and auspicious. Everyone asked me where I got it from. It looks like a pure Gadwal silk saree but at half the weight and price. Love it.
I struggle with pleating usually, but this fabric is very manageable. It’s not stiff like organza or slippery like chiffon. The pleats sat perfectly on the first try. If you are a beginner at wearing sarees, definitely go for this.
I bought the mustard and pink Gadwal silk cotton saree for a morning housewarming function. Honestly, it was the best decision. It looks grand like pure silk because of the zari border, but the body is so breathable because of the cotton mix. Didn't feel hot at all. Thank you Deepa!
Just received my parcel. The texture of the saree is too good. I was worried it might be stiff, but this Gadwal silk cotton is soft and the pleats fall perfectly without puffing up. The kuttu border work is very neat. Will definitely order more.
